All of our products are totally natural with no animal fats or petroleum products in them. Our handmade soaps ingredients are listed below. They do contain Aromatherapy grade essential oils and are colored exclusively with the highest quality herbs spices and fragrances.

The "old-fashioned" methods of soap making is where our handmade soaps get their beginnings. The old fashioned goodness of olive oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil, palm oil, palm kernal oil and rosemary oleoresin extract and vitamin e oil as preservatives. Then pure essential oils, olive oils infused with organic herbs, organic spices and grains in handmade soaps and shave soaps described below.

These Exquisite Shave Soaps are made with all vegetable oils, and organic grains using the cold-compress method of soap-making. They're a real treat compared to the mass produced commercial soaps on the market today! We find them to be less drying and irritating to sensitive skin. We think you will too!

Each batch of handmade soap starts with olive oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil, palm kernel oil and rosemary oleoresin extract and vitamin E oil as preservatives. Our shaving soap recipes leave out the botanicals, so there is nothing to clog up your razor! They include plenty of moisturizing oils and create a rich creamy lather for a clean close shave.

Tea Tree & Lavender A healing and soothing traditional medicinal soap loaded with pure tea tree oil, a touch of lemon tea tree oil and pure lavender essential oil. This natural, antibacterial soap is perfect for those who need the therapeutic benefits of tea tree oil, but prefer a softer, less medicinal scent and makes a great shave soap.

Bay Rum A spicy and exotic soap scented with pure essential oils of West Indian bay, nutmeg and mandarin speckled with ground nutmeg. A rich soap that especially appeals to men makes a great shave soap.

Almond A best-selling blend of bitter almond fragrance oil and cinnamon essential oil, cassia and citrus pure essential oils with ground almonds. This soap has a wonderful true almond aroma makes a great shave soap.

Sandalwood A healing soap excellent for skin conditions. Exotic woodsy scent very masculine makes a great shave soap.

Avocado A gentle soap for people with sensitive skin! We've used rich avocado oil instead of olive oil in our main soap recipe, then added freeze-dried avocado pulp powder and enriched it with avocado butter for a rich, moisturizing bar of soap. Gentle enough for babies. Perfect for facial use. Very nice for all skin types & sensitive skin and has no added botanicals so it makes a great shave soap. NEW

Pomegranate Our Pomegranate Soap contains dried pomegranate fruit, pomegranate extract and nourishing pomegranate seed oil, concentrated fruit juice and finely ground pomegranate seed and rind. Pomegranate oil is a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Studies have shown that pomegranate oil is effective at killing cancer cells when applied topically. This soap has a "spicy" or beige lather, rather than white, from the rich level of ingredients. Naturally Sourced and Derived Preservatives/Ingredients:
Listed below are some detailed explanations of ingredients listed in the products we carry. The definition of "Naturally Sourced" is having come from, in part or in whole, a natural or organic source at one time.

Ascorbic Acid: Vitamin C, also known the topical vitamin C, is available in many skin care products. Scientific data have shown that Vitamin C will help increase the amount of collagen production in the skin. It is also a natural anti-inflammatory that helps in reversing some of the effects of sun damage to the skin. By increasing the amount of collagen in the skin, the fine lines will be reduced. Vitamin C is one of the many active ingredients to topical agents sold on this web site, and can play a vital role in a regular skin care regimen.

Citric Acid: Widely used in the cosmetic industry. Derived from citrus fruits by fermentation of crude sugars. Used as a preservative and to adjust acid-alkali balance. Citric acid is said to have antioxidant and toning properties. Citric acid is one of the alpha-hydroxy acids. AHA's are used not only to reduce wrinkles but also to brighten your skin. The "new" alpha hydroxy acid skin treatments are simply made up of lactic acid (milk), citric acid (citrus), glycolic (sugar cane), malic (apples), and tartaric (grapes) acids.

Lecithin:  Lecithin is derived from egg yokes, soybeans and corn. Has a softening and soothing effect on skin. A natural antioxidant and emollient. Emollients make the skin feel softer and smoother, reduce rough feeling, cracking and irritation. Lecithin is made up of many different phospholipids, which occur naturally and are emulsifiers.

Methyl Paraben: (Methyl p-Hydroxybenzoate) Methyl p-Hydroxybenzoate comes from the combination of denatured wood alcohol and benzoic acid. Benzoic acid occurs naturally in cherry bark, raspberries, tea, anise and cassia bark. It is neutral, nontoxic, safe to use, non-irritating, non-sensitizing and non-poisonous. It is one of the most commonly used preservative in cosmetics since it is stable at most pH levels, is broad spectrum and water soluble.

Polysorbate 20: (Emulsifier) Widely used emulsifier, a vicious oily liquid derived from lauric acid. Lauric acid is a common constituent of coconut oil. Polysorbate 20 is a nonionic surfactant, meaning it has no electrical charge. A surfactant is a wetting (surface active) agent that lowers the water surface tension permitting it to penetrate more easily.

Stearic Acid: (Palm Stearic) A vegetable derivative used to stiffen and stabilize lotions and creams. Occurs naturally in vegetable fats. A white, waxy, natural fatty acid.

Sodium Stearate: A compound of 92.82% stearic acid with sodium salts. Stearic acid is a fatty acid that occurs naturally in butter acids, tallow and oils.

Witch Hazel: This is a very common ingredient in various cosmetics and is used as a local anesthetic and astringent. It is made from the twigs and leaves of Hamamelis Virginiana.
