Here at Pioneer Heritage Shoppe we offer a variety of UPS shipping service options for your convenience.  However, over time we have discovered that some customers are confused by these options, so we are offing some helpful hints and answering questions here.  Please let us know if you still have questions.

What does it mean "choose shipping service"?  This gives you the option of letting us know how you would prefer your order to ship.  Please use the same speed for each item you add to your cart.  If you are adding multiple items to your cart you can opt to only select shipping service method on one item.  If you don't make a selection we will ship your order ground service. All you need to do is use the drop down menu as shown here: Select Shipping Service Ground 7-14 Days Express 2 Day Express 3 Day Express Overnight International and make your preferred selection.

Why do I need to select shipping choices in the shopping cart when I've already made my choice on the ordering page? By making your selection in the shopping cart this allows the cart to give you an estimated shipping fee on your order and confirms your choice to ship by this method.  It is not an exact fee.  This is only a shipping estimate based upon your service selection and the quantity of items in the cart. The shopping cart will have a drop down menu like the drop down menu shown below. These selections help us know which service you want and offer you an estimate of charges.  Many times you will see a reduction from the estimate in your shopping cart and occasionally you will see an increase depending upon the weight of your package and the address it is being shipped to.  if you want a more definitive estimate, please contact us. Final fees will be reflected on your invoice with your order.

There will also be a note next to the drop down menu as shown below in the shopping cart:
To calculate the cost of shipping, make a selection from the menu to the right and click on the RECALCULATE button below. Select Shipping Service Estimated North Dakota Ground Estimated National Ground Estimated National Express 2-3 Days Estimated National Express 1 Day Estimated International

Please be advised that if you select an express service on the order form and then choose ground service in the shopping cart, your order will ship ground service by default.  We need you to tell us how you want your order shipped by using the shipping service selection as noted above and then confirming this in the shopping cart by selecting ground or express shipping etc.

For example:  

If you are in the USA then you can select:
1. Estimated North Dakota Ground - for inside the state of North Dakota - North Dakota Residents are charged TAX on shipping, so if you DO NOT reside in North Dakota, please use the ground service selection below for USA.

2. Estimated National Ground - for ground service anywhere in the USA

3. Estimated National Express 2-3 Day - for 2nd or 3rd day service anywhere in the USA - we will default ship to the specified number of days on the order (as indicated in the sample drop down menu above that you selected).  So if you select 2 day and then express 2-3 day in the shopping cart shipping service your order will ship 2 day.

4. Estimated National Express 1 Day - for express service overnight service anywhere in the USA.   Please keep in mind overnight service can get quite costly.  We do try to call customers if we feel the fees are excessive for the amount of the order that was placed.  If you want exact quotes please contact us.

If you are international please select:
Estimated International for all international ground or express methods. Most orders will ship ground, but some overseas orders will ship express USPS depending upon what is least costly.

Please keep in mind these are only ESTIMATES not confirmed rates.  Very often you will be charged less than what is stated, but we cannot guarantee it.  For exact quotes you should contact us.  For all UPS express services, we advise you to order items up to 4lbs in wt. to spread out the shipping for your order.  UPS charges you for 4 lbs regardless of a lesser weight.  If you need help with adding to the order to bring it up to that weight, please contact us we would be happy to assist you with your order.
